Weaving of this quality demands a highly skilled and practiced hand: the greatest achievement was to allow room for all the smallest details and yet to retain their beauty. The previous owner reported that cushions such as this were only woven within a very limited area, in the parishes of Veberöd and Everlöv in Torna district, and are very rare. Its condition is remarkable, with the original edging fringe still intact and the surface so pristine that it was probably stored away and never used.
