dove-tail tapestry

48 x 91 cm

The central figure of a magnificent lion surrounded by beautiful flowers dominates this typical example of dove-tail tapestry from south-west Scania. The red lion is the emblem of Bara and is the animal motif most frequently used on these weaves.
