The seal is inscribed, ‘He is Almighty. Sovereignty is God's. The helper of the religion of Muhammad Nasir al-Din became king. His seal became like rings out of the Sun and the Moon 1264 [1848 AD]’.

This is the first seal of the Qajar ruler after his accession to throne.
