Materials: gold sheet, painted with opaque and transparent enamels, silver-gilt lining and gilt porcelain stem

The cup is decorated with medallions of dancing girls, a favourite genre in the period of Fath ‘Ali Shah. It is set on an enamelled porcelain base, gilt and decorated with floral cartouches.
