Khalili images on Wikipedia
This has been a milestone year for the Khalili Collections partnership with Wikimedia UK, with the creation of more wiki content and reaching an even larger audience than in 2020.
This is thanks to Dr Martin Poulter, our Wikimedian-in-Residence, who has done a phenomenal job in helping us with bulk image and meta-data uploads, creating new articles on different areas of world art, and featuring multiple times on the Wikipedia global English homepage.
The Khalili Collections remains committed to supporting Wikimedia’s Vision 2030 Knowledge Equity programme, through which it is diversifying and enhancing the representation of its cultural content.
