iron gold damascene

2.4 x 6.2 cm

These diminutive T-shaped handles were standard for women’s parasols, and are pictured in workshop style-books of the 1920s along with hooked cane-handles for men. This example is very simply decorated with what appear to be wild berries with some punch decoration, with the addition of plain bands of gold ribbon and wire.
