Other Notes: This Reispass naar Mekka (‘Travel to Mecca permit’) was issued in Surabaya, Java, Dutch East Indies and dated 27 February 1911. The text of this permit provides details of the pilgrim who has been given permission by the Dutch authorities to perform the Hajj. All pilgrims from the Dutch colonies needed such permits in order to travel to Mecca.
